Kape Tayo, is a Filipino-themed coffee shop operating within University Pickers. Our café specializes in unique Filipino beverages and snacks, including favorites like Ube Kape, Buko Pandan , Halo-Halo, and savory Pork Siopao. We also cater to non-coffee drinkers with options such as Ube, Chocolate, Mango, and Dragon fruit.
ABOUT US
We are the Kroms, a married couple who have been doing business and life together for the past decade, we relocated to Huntsville from Oregon in the summer of 2023. By October, we opened Kape Tayo on the second floor of University Pickers, an antiques mall located in a refurbished former public school building.

Gourmet Filipino Coffee & Tea
We make sure to use the best of the best in quality and flavor when it comes to the brands we use for our coffee. We use Pantai Nota Singh for our Thai teas, DeDe for our green tea and Thai coffee, Kopiko for our kape kape. All other coffees are served using the best medium and dark roast Liberica beans we can get our hands on, grown from the Lipas Batangas region of the Philippines.
Freshly Baked Pastries and Desserts
From sweet desserts to savory pastries we have a great collection. We offer muffins, cookies, croissants and we're known for our hard to find pork siopao.

Can I reserve a space for a private event or celebration at your cafe?
You Sure Can! We have a location within the University Pickers, They have a small classroom downstairs that can be rented and can accommodate around 25 guests.
